Patrick Bird took “Regatta” on a mini-tour of rowing clubs in the south of England at the weekend.

The wooden four-oared gig travelled to Langstone, Bristol, Caradon and Looe – 15 crews in total got to experience rowing in her and she was very well received all round.

Next in the plan for CFOGA is to have a mould made from Regatta so that GRP training gigs can be produced – watch this space!
